Parenting is probably the most important job in the world for which human beings receive the least amount of training and formal preparation. What if you could have an edge that few others enjoy? That's where temperament theory can help. By simply identifying someone's temperament, you are able to predict many of their tendencies. Children are even more predictable. This book brings temperament theory to the average parent with the help of animal families-easy to remember and apply to life. By the time you finish, you'll be a temperament pro and the smartest person in the room.

Autorenporträt
Larry Kidder, MA, is a lifelong communicator and student of human behavior. Several years back, he discovered temperament theory, and it has changed his life. Though he is not a trained therapist, he completed a number of family therapy courses. Researching a variety of temperament websites based on Jung, Briggs and Myers, Kiersey, Golay, and others, he has pulled from each to create a coherent and cohesive presentation of temperament. Add in Golay's animal families and temperament theory immediately becomes more applicable and memorable for the layperson-especially managers and colleagues.
