Teller of tales. Weaver of adventures. Valena writes epic fantasy in her Dungeons and Dragons world, Terra. Tempest of Bravoure is the first series she put out there for the world to read, to connect with people who like her writing. It's the first in a series of books written with the mission to refresh traditional fiction by filling its pages with powerful heroes and heroines who are often mis- and/or underrepresented. These characters, and the world they're based in are developed in a rich, yet succinct and fast-paced way. Valena has taken the fantasy genre and trimmed it back to its most bare, most interesting bones, and fleshed them over with modern commentary and diverse characters. More of the Tales of Terra have been published on Royal Road. Valena wants to give dreams to people. The real world is an overwhelming place, and if she can give someone in need refuge in her world, then the Tales of Terra would have done what they were always meant to do.
