Autorenporträt
The Author: John S. Powers is an artist and scholar, born in California, educated in the USA and Europe. In 1986 he began to produce art in Berlins public spaces. After realizing more than 30 significant art and public place installation artworks in Europe and the United States, he became the first practicing artist to receive his Ph.D. (Doctor of Philosophy) at the University of the Arts in Berlin, Institut Kunstwissenschaft und Ästhetik.
