We face all different types of temptations daily as Christians. How successful are you in these temptations? What are your strengths? What are your weaknesses? Paul writes to the church at Corinth under the influence of the Holy Spirit that "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13). James gives us a solution to our temptations when he states "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). What does it mean to submit? What does it mean to resist? The answers are waiting for you inside.Hinweis: Dieser Artikel kann nur an eine deutsche Lieferadresse ausgeliefert werden.
Tony Martin II was born in Wichita, KS on December 13, 1988, but moved to New Jersey around the age of three where he would grow up and spend the majority of his life. Tony is the oldest of three and currently resides in South Carolina. Throughout high school Tony's interest was piqued by sports and computer aided design. As a result, he went on to study mechanical engineering at Drexel University, where he obtained his Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering in June of 2013. Growing up in church Tony made his confession of faith concerning the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ for the pardon of his sins at a young age, but didn't come to really have a relationship with Jesus Christ until he turned 18. While Tony was in his room during the summer of 2008, he heard the LORD God speak very clearly to him saying, "You had 18 years to live your way, now I want you to live my way". From that day forward Tony began to develop his relationship with Jesus Christ through fasting, prayer, reading/studying God's word, and attending Bible study, Sunday School, and Sunday morning service on a regular basis. Through studying the Word of God, The Holy Spirit revealed his purpose and plan for Tony to "feed his sheep" as a Pastor. Tony accepted his call to ministry which was confirmed by his first speaking engagement on November 29, 2009, and he was licensed as a minister in June of 2014. To continue his studies and preparation for pastoral ministry, Tony enrolled in the Bethany Baptist School of Biblical Studies in February of 2015. Upon completion of his studies at the aforementioned school, Tony obtained his Certificate of completion, and was ordained as a Gospel Minister on June 07, 2016. In addition to preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Tony also served in other ministries at St. Paul Baptist Church of Florence, NJ. Those ministries consisted of Praise and Worship, Men's Choir, Silent Praise Mime Ministry, and the music ministry playing the drums. When Tony is not ministering, he loves to spend time with family and friends, workout, go to the movies, and relax. "Temptation: You can succeed", is Tony's first book, but he is also working on his first EP entitled "At the Throne", and his own clothing line "Transparent Truth". If you enjoyed this book, look out for Tony's next book entitled, "Going to a greater anointing" coming soon!
