Alberto, a visionary from the start, is known for his passion, drive, and relevance. His unique ability to connect with individuals and inspire them to know God, love God, and love people has been instrumental in helping them maximize their fullest potential here on earth. After rededicating his life to Christ at the age of 22 at Teen Challenge, he answered the call to ministry. He and his wife, Ashley, spent their early years in South Central LA and Bakersfield as Youth Pastors while serving as student advisors at the Teen Challenge Ministry Institute. In 2013, Pastor Alberto and Ashley established The Gathering LA, a church that left a significant mark in the heart of Los Angeles. Their influence was so profound that they were offered a TV Show on the TBN Salsa Network, titled 'Life in the City.' Pastor Alberto's leadership extended beyond the church, as he served as the lead campus pastor for New Season, overseeing all of their existing campuses. He also made a substantial contribution to the NHCLC, (National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference) as their marketing director. After a fruitful time in Sacramento, they returned to Bakersfield, this time as Associate Pastors at Bakersfield First Assembly of God, the same church where they once served as Youth Pastors.Today, Pastor Alberto and his wife Ashley are at the helm of a new church plant, The Collective. This vibrant community is a shining example of hope and growth, situated in the heart of Bakersfield, California. The Collective, under their leadership, is committed to fostering a welcoming and loving environment, where individuals can grow in their faith and make a positive impact in the city. Alberto and Ashley, a testament to unwavering dedication, have been married for 16 years and have 4 children: Brooklyn, Talia, Mateo, and Milo.
