A chance meeting on the streets of London brought it all back. They instantly recognized each other. Yes, they were older, but that didn't matter. Julian easily recognized the old couple as the Nazis he saw murdering a family sixty years before just as they recognized him. Frans and Kara were fleeing the advancing Russian army with their stash of diamonds swindled from desperate Jews who were interned at Theresienstadt Concentration Camp when Julian witnessed the atrocity. Sixty years vanished in an instant. Because they are unable to contain their fear of being discovered, the evil siblings immediately call on their Nazi friends in Buenos Aires and Germany, as well as their terrorist connections, to help find and silence Julian. Julian is not going to sit by and do nothing, just waiting to be killed. He calls on his best friend Max to help him find a solution and, with the help of some Mossad agents, a search for the Nazis begins. What they learn is even more frightening, leaving them with the knowledge that the evildoers must be totally destroyed. Can they stop this evil in its tracks? Surely they can, because they must. The author cleverly used a series of flashbacks to tell the back-story on most of the main characters so the reader can learn a little about what to expect. This thriller takes the reader from WWII to present day Europe in a quick fashion that keeps the reader's interest. I found it to be an attention grabber and enjoyed it very much.
