Autorenporträt
M. A. Estevis was raised in Corpus Christi, Texas, but spent much of her adult life in New Mexico. While teaching in the northern part of the state, she met her husband, also a native Texan. They eventually returned to live in Texas and now make their home in the Lower Rio Grande Valley. She is retired from the University of Texas.
