Huijie Li est professeur à l'école des langues étrangères de l'Institut de technologie de Harbin. Elle s'intéresse particulièrement à l'évaluation des langues et à l'enseignement de l'anglais. Elle a obtenu le titre de Bao Gang Excellent Teacher en 2013 ; elle a remporté le premier prix du Heilongjiang Teaching Achievement Award en 2013.
