She is a CEO, wife, mother, author, and a Inspirational Speaker. Charlandra served in the United States Army for nearly eight years as an active duty and a reserve soldier. She received the Army Service Ribbon, Army Good Conduct Medal, and the National Defense Service medal for recognition for serving during the Gulf War. Also she served a military OCONUS tour in Hawaii. After completing her military duties, Charlandra was Honorably Discharged. She attended Troy State University where she received her Associate Degree in Business Administration from Troy State University. Later she transferred to Saint Leo University where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and her Master of Business Administration Degree. Charlandra is the Founder and CEO of Apple of My Eye Women Veterans Foundation which is based in Atlanta, Ga. This foundation provides various assistance to military women veterans who have served our country and unfortunately have become homeless, unemployed or insolvent due to difficult circumstances. This limited assistance includes financial donations for suitable housing, job placement tools, personal care items, and spiritual motivation. The core mission is to bring restoration to these Women Veterans so that they will become productive and successful again in our society. Charlandra truly can relate with Women Veterans because she too has served her country with dignity and sacrifice. She believes that we all are the Apple of God's Eye meaning that we are highly cherished and loved by God. Currently Charlandra continues to travel as a Inspirational Speaker, write more books, and she enjoys spending time with her wonderful husband and their beautiful children.
