The AAM Natural fiber carefully extracted by using mechanical decortications method. The fibers were alkali treated (NaOH solution) with different soaking period. T. Ramakrishnan est actuellement professeur adjoint au Sri Eshwar College of Engineering et affilié à l'Anna University, tous deux en Inde. Après avoir obtenu des distinctions dans ses diplômes de premier et de deuxième cycle, il a ensuite obtenu un doctorat en ingénierie. Il a près de dix ans d'expérience dans l'enseignement et six ans dans la recherche.
