Autorenporträt
Cäcilia Fluck, Ph.D. 1991 in Coptology, University of Münster, Germany is a free-lance collaborator of the Skulpturensammlung und Museum für Byzantinische Kunst and the University of Münster. She is particularly interested in late antique and early Christian archaeology, especially textiles, from Egypt. Gisela Helmecke, Dipl.-phil. 1975 in Art Science (Art History), Humboldt University, Berlin, Germany, is curator for textiles and ceramics at the Museum of Islamic Art, Berlin. She is specialised in Medieval Islamic textiles, especially tiraz textiles.
