Thank You, Night follows a young boy who feels "squeezed" and anxious, until he hears the soft sounds of nature at his bedroom window. Called by the brushing of leaves and the tapping of branches, he ventures outdoors and immediately feels his body begin to relax. Guided by Papa, the boy takes an evening walk through nature. The two simply notice what they feel, hear, and smell--and even what they think. This book helps children ages 4-9 gain the skills to cope with anxiety and regain balance as they interact with the world around them.

Autorenporträt
Dan McCauley is a writer and educator who grew up in New York City and is based in Los Angeles, California. Raised by little league coaches, a caring community, and his family's love, Dan pursued his passion for teaching and storytelling at NYU. Dan writes and teaches with the same sense of awe, wonder, and gratitude he feels toward the world. Dan is the author of the Thank You, World series. Jo Loring-Fisher is an artist, author, illustrator, and a graduate of Cambridge School of Art's master's program in children's book illustration.
