Mariia ist eine Schülerin aus Leipzig, die momentan die 11. Klasse besucht. Schon als Kind interessierte sie sich für Literatur, angefangen mit Märchen und klassischer Literatur. Im Alter von 5 Jahren übte sie zum Spaß, eigene Gedichte zu schreiben. Später erlahmte ihre Leidenschaft langsam. Der Umzug von einer Stadt in eine andere war jedoch mental ziemlich anstrengend, und Mariias Leidenschaft für das Schreiben kehrte zurück. Es begann mit kleinen Geschichten, in denen sie ihre Gefühle frei ausdrücken konnte, und wurde zu einem größeren Teil ihres Lebens. Das Schreiben ist eine Möglichkeit, der Realität zu entfliehen und zu reflektieren. Diese würde sie gerne der Welt zeigen. Aufgrund ihres Sprachtalents kann Mariia in 6 Sprachen fließend schreiben und kommunizieren. Ihre bevorzugte Sprache, sowohl beim Schreiben als auch beim Lesen, ist Englisch.
