Ben Linehan graduated from the DIT College of Art, Dublin, with a Degree in Visual Communications and has worked in several advertising agencies as a graphic designer and illustrator. Since 2010 he has worked freelance and in 2020 he completed a certificate in animation from Griffith College, Dublin. His passion for narrative and storytelling stems from many years involved in the creative process. He took up oil painting 14 years ago, exhibiting and selling in a number of galleries in Ireland. His characters, The Nurchies, originate from a message by Pope Francis on his visit to Ireland in 2018, noting that three words underused in today's world are 'Please, Thank You and Sorry.' Ben hopes his characters and stories will bring fresh inspiration for parents when reading with their children. He lives in Sandymount, Dublin, Ireland
