The author was born in Trinidad but moved to his Father's homeland, Grand Cayman within his first year. He schooled there, gradually learning that his proud ancestry had the adversity of being caught up into slavery. At 16, the author took to sea. At 19, he had studied various career choices, created a small business, and ended up immigrating to Canada, where he married, raises a family and retired as a marine engineer. So come on in and chat awhile with a descendant of Fletcher Christian, and of Napoleon's Admiral Gantaume, a Grandson of Carib & Arawack Indians and of Runaway Slaves.
