Autorenporträt
As a current adjunct professor at Barry University and a former elementary teacher, Michael Woodward, Jr. was inspired by his 3rd and 5th grade black and brown students who struggled to find fiction literature they could see themselves in. He writes stories that are representative of the hundreds of thousands of children who stem from low-income communities and face inequities that many adults may never have to encounter. Yet, regardless of their race or socio-economic status, Michael has dedicated his life to instilling equity and representation for all.
