This is compounded by the fact that a special friendship has developed between her and Adam. However, there is also a mutual attraction between her and David, the second oldest son. David has some underlying hostility toward Adam and his deceased father. When the cause is revealed, a conflict occurs, causing David to leave in anger. Ruth Jenkins received her education through the Borough of Brooklyns's Public School System. At the age of 21 she moved to the Hudson Valley fulfilling her dream to live in the country. Her other dream came true when she met the love of her life, Earl. Her blessings continued to come her way with the birth of her two loving daughters, Claudia and Kathleen, God also blessed her with 58 1/2 years with Earl before calling his to his heavenly home. She has always had a strong desire to write. This was rooted on the hope that her readers would become more aware of God's constant faithful love and presence in our lives.
