Born in New York City, H. R. 'Hank' Maly's career spans more than forty years as a teacher, University Administrator and Development Consultant. He was president of Maly Executive Search, a firm that offers executive-level placement in higher education and health. He played professional baseball in the Cincinnati Redlegs and Minnesota Twins organizations. He is the author of nine books for children. Hank and his wife, Dr. Maggie Cabral-Maly, live in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, and have five grown children and six grandchildren.
