The 3 in 1 Camping Cuisine Cookbook has been designed to cater for all camping or outdoor situations by focussing on three very different scenarios: Hiking, Campfire Cooking and Glamping. This book sets out to show that you can put together delicious and nutritious creations that do not require an abundance of equipment or numerous ingredients, and yet really satisfy the palate. The book is full of colour photos highlighting each dish and laid out in an easy-to-follow format. The emphasis has been placed on showing that campers can create scrumptious food of universal appeal while also offering alternatives and variations across all of the dishes to comply with different diets such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, lactose free and favourites for children. The first (Hiking) section deals with food and dishes that can be created for people that are on foot with just a backpack and very limited ability or facilities to cook. Emphasis here has been on high energy food and simple to make dishes to enjoy with options provided for both short and long hikes. The second (Campfire Cooking) section presents recipes for people based at a campsite and have limited cooking equipment, space and limited cold storage. Recipes are varied and include breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert options. The third (Luxury Camping or 'Glamping') section offers greater scope for dishes that require more facilities such as refrigeration and cooking equipment typically found within modern caravans, RVs or Motorhomes. Breakfast as well as lunch and dinner options are many including starters, light meals, main meals, desserts and treats to bake before you leave home. Published by Camping for Women, the book is written by an experienced woman camper, nutritionist and caterer who has had broad experience across the two continents of Europe and Africa. It seeks to provide a practical, yet holistic resource to cater for all situations in the great outdoors. The book also includes safety information as well as clean up tips for campers.

Sharon Maree is a woman camper who currently lives in Mallorca, Spain. She has been caravanning since she was 5 years old and is passionate about camping and food. She is an accomplished food writer, caterer and nutritionist with many projects to her name. Sharon grew up in South Africa where she spent her childhood camping. She completed her education in Johannesburg with a Diploma in Catering and Nutrition before moving to Cape Town where she and her husband ran a newspaper and she taught cookery classes. She has 2 children and moved to Spain in 2013, where she continues to indulge her passion for good food and the outdoors. Sharon is also Camping for Women¿s Food, Cooking and Nutrition Consultant in Europe.
