The biggest change occurred when I decided to relinquish responsibility of my mental well-being from other people and things outside of myself. That meant I could no longer blame the person driving slow in front of me in traffic when I was the one late for work. This relinquishing of responsibility meant that I could no longer react with anger when someone triggered a fearful part of me. When you relinquish responsibility of your mental well-being from other people, it means that instead of getting mad at the manner-less, unaware person in the next row of the airplane who is "COVID" coughing, you just bring a mask. "You"; the operate word in all of this. The world is chaotic and uncontrollable, so the way You will find peace here is by cultivating it within You. It is not about the world, and what is outside of You, these things are almost irrelevant. How You response to the world is what is relevant and this will determine your disposition throughout your journey.
