Bruce graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in Plan II, the Honors Liberal Arts Program; received a master's degree in theology from Dallas Theological Seminary; and did doctoral work at the University of Texas at Dallas in the History of Ideas (focused on philosophical hermeneutics,Hans-Georg Gadamer, an postmodernism). He taught theology for four years at Dallas Seminary.Alongside a strong team, Bruce started Christ Fellowship (CFhome.com) in McKinney, Texas, where he enjoys serving as senior pastor. Bruce serves his local community in several leadership roles, uniting others to make a difference for the under-resourced.Bruce and his wife, Tamara, enjoy spending time with their grown children and spoiling their wonderful grandchildren. In his spare time, Bruce loves playing racquetball, using a chainsaw, and sitting by an open fire. He looks forward to hiking in the Rocky Mountains whenever he can get there.Bruce's heart to see people live more joyful, fulfilled lives sparked the writing of Your Life in Rhythm.
