Interpreting Bible prophecy is difficult. There are as many different points of view as there are people. Passages from the Old and New Testaments dovetail to form the complete picture, and it is certain that there are details that men are not meant to know. The testimonies of Daniel and John were written in light of their understanding of what they saw. The Lord may have wanted it that way in order to keep the exact time of these events secret. The events in this work take place between 2010 and 2020, but they may not happen for another 500 years. They may begin to unfold tomorrow. This is why I avoided mentioning too many specific years. The passages that appear at the beginning of each chapter are from the New International Version of the Bible. I like the NIV because it is translated into more modern English and is much easier to understand. I am comfortable with this version because of this and because it is still translated from original texts. There have been other books written about end time events in which the main characters work closely with the Antichrist. In my book, the life of one family is chronicled, and they never meet him or his cohort, the False Prophet. They are certainly effected by what they do, as are billions of others. My hope is that, though the events of the Tribulation will no doubt be more severe than depicted in this book, those reading it will consider their standing before God. I do not believe that the Lord's return is that far off. If society does not change the course it is on, the Lord will have no choice but to call his people home and pronounce his final judgments on mankind. It could happen in our lifetime. You can be spared these terrible events by accepting Jesus as your savior now. You must first believe that what the Bible says about Jesus Christ is true. He is the only way to Heaven (John 14:6). Acts 16:31 sums up how to be saved in the simplest terms I know. Romans 10:9 is proof of salvation. If the Rapture occurred tonight, what would happen to you?
