He wrote entries on Allendale County, the town of Allendale and the town of Fairfax for The South Carolina Encyclopedia, University of South Carolina Press, 2006. Since 2009 he has served as Head Librarian at the University of South Carolina Salkehatchie in Allendale and Walterboro.
