Every day, relatively large number of potentially innocent people and whose charges/allegations have not yet been proved by the Prosecutions beyond reasonable doubt before the court of law are generated in the prisons and police custody and other facilities around the world. All these posses violations of human rights for the accused persons. The present Book deals with the basic issues as indicated above, problems relating to criminal law and procedure of handling the accused's right to bail. It also intends to create awareness amongest the personnel involved in criminal law and procedures in Tanzania, Uganda and Kenya.
