Larry Horist is a civic and political activist with extensive professional and personal experience with racial issues in segregated urban communities. His family includes a Black daughter. Horist's consulting firm served as advisors to the Chicago and Detroit boards of education and has represented distinguished clients such as the White House, magazine publisher Steve Forbes' presidential campaign, the City Club of Chicago, Nobel Laureate Milton Friedman, and political candidates of both parties.
