Brazil's native forests can support agricultural production.Because they are rich in biodiversity, they have their own mechanisms for controlling humidity, temperature and other factors based on the presence of all living beings in the area. The presence of these formations near agricultural crops can be an important factor in contributing to the regulation and greater balance in the dynamics of the populations of associated living beings. This study looked at the effect of "rich" forests on sugar cane crops, in terms of the occurrence of agricultural pests and diseases associated with this crop.
