George did not ask permission from his parents to go outside. He was afraid the won't give him the answer he will love to hear. Therefore, George made a decision on his own. There he goes strolling down the street, sighing, oh what a beautiful day. Having dreams of what he will be when he becomes a grown-up. One thing is having not to say no to his children. He will let them go where ever they want and enjoy nature. George had a change of heart after his experience with his stroll.

Autorenporträt
Ruth G. Wyllie, Born on the Island of St. Vincent and The Grenadines. Migrated to the United States 1979 and returned home because I had missed my home. After graduating the Bishop's College High School, I returned to the states in 1986 and stayed, started my life here as a young adult was challenging. I am traveling through life with many learning experiences and working to improve my spirituality as I grow. I have two lovely children, Colleen and Zefen both are my inspiration and muse to help with my creativity. I am in the medical field for the past thirty years. My favorite area was my 8 years of hospice. The Story of the Adventures of George the turtle came to me when my children were very young. My son always walks away to his friends house without my permission. It was a close netted neighborhood at that time and he was known. I wrote this story to teach our children how important it is to speak with your parents and understand that you are love and parents are here to protect their children. It's a scary world and we must be more careful. The story of George was later printed when I was in college and my English professor was impressed with me that I have a very good story to tell. Here I am with this wonderful story of The Adventures of George the turtle. God has been good to me and I am taking this opportunity to give him thanks.
