Rivera Sun is a change-maker, a cultural creative, a protest novelist, and an advocate for nonviolence and social justice. She's a love-based revolutionary with astonishing clarity, a visionary progressive with a rare capacity for pragmatic strategy. She is the author of The Dandelion Insurrection and a dozen other novels, non-fiction and poetry books. Her essays have been published in hundreds of journals and she was the co-host for five years of two nationally syndicated radio shows. Rivera speaks and holds workshops internationally where she shares solutionary ideas, and inspires people to step up to the challenge of being a part of the story of change and the wild adventure of these times! Many classes at university and high school level use Rivera's books to illustrate themes in peace and conflict studies, social justice, nonviolenc and literature. Rivera is happy to speak with your classes on-line or in-person. Rivera lives in an earthship in the high desert outside Taos, NM.
