Autorenporträt
Vickie Whitehead is a children's author and illustrates her books. She is a mother of two adult sons and a grandmother. Teaching children of all ages is her delight. She and her family were missionaries to the Philippines from 2002 until 2010 teaching missionary children. She is now a teacher to fifth graders at a Christian school in Colorado. The dynamic of Drifter was born when she and her husband would tell stories to their sons before bedtime. Having a love for the outdoors and participating in mountain man rendezvous' sparked the idea for the beloved character of Amos and his devoted dog, Drifter. Their adventures along the way should inspire and give hope to all those that love the outdoors and have a desire to strengthen their walk with the Lord.
