This book is the result of a research that was carried out in the career of Communication of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana Cali in Colombia to obtain the right of graduation and obtain the professional title. This degree work offers an audiovisual proposal, through the recovery of memory archives related to the parental links between a grandfather and his grandson, to present an alternative account of the violence of the second half of the twentieth century in Colombia from the point of view of a military-cartoonist called: Captain Micifuz. For this purpose, the construction of an archive of memory based on the artistic and journalistic work that evidences a perspective on the social life of the time is alluded to. From the inputs, an interpretation of the historical memory is developed through outstanding milestones in which the character's trajectory is combined with the most outstanding events that occurred in the country. Finally, the parental plots that allow us to glimpse the affective bonds inherent in the story of a grandson who values the influence of his grandfather in his life are addressed.
