Dana T. Johnson, a homegrown artist from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. After graduating high school, she pursued cosmetology, finding in the beauty industry a canvas for her creativity. Encouraged by a talent agent, she ventured into modeling, aspiring to see more diversity in her beloved magazines. Relocating to New York, her passion for music flourished as she collaborated with a prominent hip-hop producer.Throughout her varied pursuits, Dana wrote short stories, poems, and letters to herself, often declaring to friends her ambition to write a book. Inspired by the birth of her three children and motivated by a dearth of faith-inspired children's literature, she embarked on creating characters that were both fun and uplifting. Thus began her debut book, The Adventures of Courage, Faith, and Prosperity, the first installment in a series aimed at instilling adventure, friendship, and faith in young readers.Joining Dana on this journey are her daughters: Jayda Lawson and Jade Lawson. Their family adventure began with Dana's handwritten story, which Jayda and Jade lovingly brought to life on the pages, infusing it with joy and animation.
