Dr. Cristina Carballo-Perelman has been a physician for the last 30 years as well as a wife and mother. She has been a champion for animal rights and believes the animal world has much to teach us. She also believes that there are a set of core values that if taught at an early age will help children become empowered adults. These values include: compassion, confidence, serenity, individuality, teamwork, anti-bullying and enjoyment of each moment. She hopes this book helps teach these values to young children through the stories of a little girl from Australia. The author lives at home with her husband and 2 dogs in Scottsdale, Arizona.
