Autorenporträt
The author is a eighty-year-old retired police officer, married to his wife, Mary, for forty-nine years, with two daughters and six grandchildren. Born in the North East of England, he has spent most of his working life in the Midlands in Birmingham. This book, which is dedicated to his daughters, Jane Louise and Sally Ann, is probably the result of reading stories to them and the three children each have produced.
