Autorenporträt
Numbers and problem-solving have always fascinated Ingrid Seabra. She studied statistics at Salamanca University in Spain and then worked as a credit risk analyst at Barclays Bank in the UK. She moved to Germany to work as a statistician at the European Central Bank (ECB), where she analyzed data on eurozone economies. After gaining experience in the banking and finance industry, she switched to scientific research. She became a senior biostatistician at BIAL Pharmaceuticals in Portugal, where she conducted clinical trials and published scientific articles. Now, Ingrid is a teacher and consultant in mathematics and statistics. She also explores artificial intelligence and its applications in business and education. She is especially interested in how AI can enhance education for children and young adults. She writes about technology and education, and co-authors the children's travel books As Aventuras do Gastão. She enjoys traveling and learning about different cultures, and hopes to encourage young readers to do the same.
