Autorenporträt
Maggie Emery was born and brought up in Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex, UK, and moved to Spain with her husband in 2017. She liked to write humorous poems and enjoyed writing regular 'blogs' to family and friends back in the UK but had always wanted to write a book. During the COVID lockdown in March 2020, she started writing a story to read via video link to her grandchildren. Encouraged by their response and that from friends and family, she went on to write and illustrate a further five short stories which have been put together to create this, her first published book.
