Lisa Cortez is a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist. She lives in San Diego, CA with her teenage son and two rescue dogs. The Adventures of Marie and LeeLee is her first book. It is a tribute to her best friend, Marie Story Feldman, who passed away from cancer 9 years ago. Marie was a bright light who spread laughter and happiness to everyone she met. Lisa wrote this book to share the story of how their everyday activities were transformed into lasting memories through the beauty of their friendship. She hopes that this book will bring smiles and joy to all who read it! Some of the sales from the book will be donated to a volunteer organization that Marie was involved in called New York Cares.
