The Adventures of Miss Twiggs & Company is a magical story set in rural England in 1946. Miss Twiggs, Mortimor and Penelope are three mice who risk their lives leaving Durham County, England, several times a year to share love, truth and wisdom with all they encounter. Autorenporträt
Lucy grew up in rural Indiana playing with her German Shepherds and 22 cats. Because of this peaceful environment, her vivid imagination began creating stories with magical characters. After attending Lindenwood University in Missouri for both undergraduate and graduate school, Lucy worked with higher educational institutions and corporate America teaching them how "thoughts" could actually sabotage their entire life. She and a partner founded the "Thinker's Edge Program" in St Louis, Missouri which was funded by a major corporation to help reduce recidivism among first time offenders. Lucy also developed a widow and widower's program called "Coping and Living Life" with a local funeral home while living in Missouri. She was a National Speaker for the Funeral Directors of America educating funeral directors on the importance of not just burying the deceased but also helping families to process their grief through a variety of programs funeral homes might offer. Lucy was a member of the American Association of Marriage & Family Therapists throughout her clinical years and established three full-service mental health clinics in Wisconsin with her partners to help individuals and families live healthier and happier lives. Today, Lucy uses her Reiki Master training in the Usui Method coupled with her psychotherapy skills to help people see the true complexity of who we are as humans. She belongs to the National Reiki Healing Association. Lucy is the host for "The Synergy Connection Radio Show", a weekly radio show where she interviews guests who assist her with connecting the dots between the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual components of our lives. This program is now available as a podcast. Lucy has been recognized by the Marquis Who's Who Publication Board as a recipient of the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award for unwavering excellence in their chosen fields. The Adventures of Miss Twiggs and Company is Lucy's effort to help children as well as adults understand how thoughts actually do create the reality we experience each day.
