After graduation, Janene worked as a secretary and married her high school sweetheart, Lon. A son, a daughter, and three grandchildren have completed her life. She has been interested in writing from the age of seven, when she wrote a series of stories about a helpful bumblebee, Susie the Do-Bee. Her hobbies are mowing for hours, reading, lunching with The Golden Girls Gang, and writing, writing, writing.
