In the book, The Adventures of Not Me: Introducing Not Me, Not Me came to Earth to try to get some help saving his world, Onus. It turns out that what we do here on Earth actually makes a big difference there. Not Me told us there are creatures called AACKs that are the energy that light up his world. These AACKs are lit up or dimmed by our actions. To light up an AACK, it is important that we take responsibility for the things that we do, and when we learn a lesson, the power is doubled. It is also important to own our mistakes. When we do this, two things happen: the AACKs become stronger, and we become stronger. Another way Not Me told us that we can light up an AACK is by doing something kind. Kindness can be shown in three different ways: you doing kindness for others, others doing kindness for you, and you doing kindness for yourself. If you do any of these things, you are lighting up an AACK and you are helping to rebuild Onus. With 10 core questions repeated daily, users identify their feelings, what lessons have been learned, where they are taking responsibility and what there is to be grateful for. The premise being that what we focus on expands and by focusing on the things that we want in life while allowing the human feelings to be felt and let go, we will find that life becomes a pleasure to live and we can take back our power.
