Karen Asbroek was born in Australia and has lived most of her life in country and rural settings. Her greatest passions are her family, animals, and nature, which have inspired her short fictional childrens books. She has studied Reiki and meditation, worked twenty-five years in the wine industry, and has a diploma in professional counseling.
