Autorenporträt
Alita-Geri Carter is the CEO and founder of The Commission for Health, LLC. At the age of 14, Alita decided that she would contribute to society by starting a business that would educate, train, and connect community members with resources. In 2009, Alita graduated from Bowie State University with a bachelor's degree (Bachelor of Science in Nursing). Alita received her graduate degree (Master of Science in Nursing) from the University of Maryland, Baltimore in 2013. Later she became certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Motherhood has challenged Alita to become a better human and more astute clinician. She currently works in the public health sector and looks forward to publishing more books in the future.
