Michelle Crichton attended the University of Ottawa and studied both General Arts and Teaching. She holds a degree in General Arts and another in Education. After taking care of a bunny for nine years, Michelle was left with many fond memories and a deep understanding of the value that animals can bring to the lives of people. Imaginative yet realistic, The Adventures of Vylette Bunny and Michie: Love at First Bite is inspired by her own experiences. Michelle depicts many of the ups and downs that can develop from taking on a pet bunny. By using vivid imagery and telling a story that creates a strong bond with the main characters, Michelle engages young readers on this journey. Just like any friendship, Michie and Vylette will learn about each other, and a few important lessons along the way.
