Autorenporträt
Ray DeGraw, Jr. is currently a stay-at-home father with a small handyman business in Northern New Jersey. After graduating Roxbury High School in 1995, Ray went on to earn an Associates Degree at County College of Morris and a Bachelor's Degree in English at William Paterson University. Ray spent five years as a sports reporter for the Morris County Daily Record before moving on to become a career bartender. After 15 years of slinging suds, Ray retired from the restaurant industry to stay at home with his two children. During this time, Ray took to the paper and pen again and began writing a series of children's stories loosely based on his children and their experiences. Teaming up with illustrator and childhood friend Scott Galan, whose wonderful pictures and paintings bring the book alive, Ray hopes that his stories inspire parents and children alike to put down their "smart" devices and rediscover the wonderful world that surrounds them.
