Autorenporträt
Takesha Powell (1973- ) was born in Suffern, New York. Always having enjoyed writing, she won her 1st County-wide playwriting competition in the 6th grade. From that time on, she has written for numerous magazines, including "Honey" "Black Elegance" and "The Aquarian Weekly". She later went on to serve as Editor-in-Chief of "True Confessions" (Jive/Intimacy) magazines in New York.She was awarded a Bachelor's Degree in English and a Master's in Adult Education. She supports social groups as an alumnus of Alpha Kappa Psi, Professional Business Fraternity and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.When she isn't writing, she's browsing the web, being a hands-on mom to her 2 kids, and watching way too many YouTube videos than she probably should.
