The history of the Atlantic slave trade is history. As for the great prophetess who I heard about from one man in Africa, who knows? For me, she has come to life in the person of Kisa. Autorenporträt
Margaret Skeel is a biologist, wildlife rescuer and high school teacher when she is not busy writing books and articles about her experiences. She lives in the Australian bush where she has ample opportunities to study, rescue and rehabilitate wildlife. As a teacher, she has worked extensively with Aboriginal students and their families and also wants to share with the wider public the rich tapestry of Aboriginal culture and their spiritual connection with the land.Born in the USA, she migrated to Australia as a Fisheries Biologist and never left. Her desire is to help educate children and other readers about the wonders of Australian native wildlife in order to help save these unique species from extinction.She has branched out into historical fiction with her new book Framed! She wants to inspire teenagers with tales of young people who have survived and triumphed against incredible odds.
