A Dra. Wasudha Malgie S. concluiu o seu doutoramento em Educação de Adultos (Faculdade de Psicologia e Ciências da Educação, Departamento de Ciências da Educação da Vrije Universiteit Brussel) em 2018. A sua investigação centrava-se na agricultura sustentável no Suriname. Tem estado envolvida na investigação e ensino na Universidade Anton de Kom do Suriname.
