Hi, my name is Hayden. I'm twelve years old at the time of writing this book. I live in California. It's been a dream of mine for the past few years to write and illustrate books about some of my current interests in science, sea animals, amphibians, reptiles, birds, endangered animals, Minecraft, and more! I read many books on these subjects, watch videos, play Minecraft in creative mode, sketch, and draw in 3D and with the computer. This is the first book in the Adventures of the Axolotls series and follows my series of books on the Curious Axolotl in Minecraft. All of my new ideas quickly turned into the stories that I began putting on these pages. I hope that you enjoy reading about the axolotls' expedition to the Mushroom Islands as much as I enjoyed writing about it!
