Ruth L. Kirk lived at Shamrock Stables (alias Sunshine Stables) for 40 years. The "CHARLIE" STORIES are all based on true events. Ruth in addition to having a Stable, had a Country retreat boarding facility for dogs, and cats. She has written pet columns and was featured in Entrepreneurial Woman Magazine.
