For High School & College Students, this book contains Life-Changing Truths, Wisdom and Guidance they will need to pursue their "American Dream." Special emphasis is directed toward Young Women and Disadvantaged young adults--who will have to travel a more difficult path to achieve their "American Dream." Both the author and his wife, Angel were disadvantaged and had little hope of professional success upon graduating high school--but they were both determined to "Take Control of Their Lives" and succeed in this very competitive world. Both traveled different paths, while earning the education that provided the special skills they needed to become successful in their lives. Both climbed from the bottom to the top of their domestic and international professions. If this small-town farm boy and small-town girl, could rise from their humble beginnings to achieve the "American Dream," then so too can nearly every young adult who has experienced an abusive or disadvantaged childhood--regardless of how poorly they have performed with their high school education. Autorenporträt
The author of this book is living proof that, no matter how difficult life might be, everyone has an opportunity to achieve "The American Dream." During his career, he experienced the fact that young women have a more difficult time, as they strive to achieve the "American Dream." He hired and promoted more women than men and taught the ethics and values it takes to succeed in a competitive world. This small-town farm boy from Hoagland, Indiana had nothing going for him at the time he graduated in the lower half of his high school class of 39 students. Yet, through his own career planning, determination, and hard work, step-by-step, he picked himself up, changed his life, and achieved the "American Dream."
