Autorenporträt
Andrew was inspired to begin writing during his first years of teaching children with special needs. He wrote his first story in 1995, and over the years he has written many short children's stories. Andrew has used these stories in various ways with the young children in his classes to teach literacy skills, which remains his greatest passion, second only to his three children and his wife, Tracy. Andrew lives on a rural property in southwest Western Australia. He and his family live with a cat, a cockatiel, a green tree frog, a bearded dragon, and a Stimpson's python. Living with so many interesting animals has inspired many of his stories, as has his dreadful phobia of spiders!
